Graphing It!

Have you heard the saying: "A picture is worth a thousand words"?

Graphs and charts are great because they communicate information visually. For this reason, graphs are often used in newspapers, magazines and businesses around the world.  You have collected data in class and now we are going use that data to create a graph.

Go to the website below and complete the following:

  1. Click on the arrow and choose bar graph.
  2. With the data you have collected, fill in the information requested.
  3. Create a title for your graph.
  4. Label the x-axis and fill in the amount.  You can choose any color you want for the bar.
  5. Scroll down and choose the size, shape and background color for your graph.
  6. Preview your graph and if you like what you see, you may print.

Based on the results of your graph, write three statements on the back of your graph that can be made about the data.  Turn in your graph and three statements for a grade.
