You will be investigating several web sites dealing with the properties and characteristics of the crayfish. 

 

I. – nvestigate

 

  Your assignment is to review the questions and diagram relating to the crayfish.  Search through the website hyperlinks and obtain the information needed to answer the questions and label the diagram.  In addition, create a testable question that you can investigate in the classroom using our crayfish.  Remember to be thinking of what you want to know while searching through the wealth of information on these sites.

  You will be graded on the following:

 

Your completed question sheet and labeled diagram.

 

Your created test question and the answer through your investigation.  This should be written in paragraph form.

 

When your assignment is complete, SIGN IT, DOUBLE CHECK IT, and HAND IT IN.

-         Assessing their  testable experiment and their writing about their experiment

 

Suggestions/Hints:

 

  This should be done after the introduction of the structures of life unit.  Mention that students will be investigating crayfish, but do not give to much background information.
