Odor particles cause us to smell (you can’t see them)
There are 7 primary odors*
Children can smell better than adults
Touch/Skin
Your sense of touch is found all over
Through touch we feel pain, hot, cold, and pressure
Taste/Tongue
Four basic kinds of taste: sweet, salty, sour, and bitter
Children have more taste buds than adults
Girls have more than boys
Hearing/Ears
Vibrations of sounds flow into your ears
Children have more sensitive ears than adults
Animals hear more sounds than humans
