Course Expectations

As students, I expect you to keep open minds and be respectful of the ideas, opinions, questions, and beliefs of your fellow classmates.  You are also to treat myself and the classroom with respect, and I will do the same for you.  It is your responsibility to put forth effort and to work to the best of your abilities at all times.  I know you are capable of succeeding in this class, and I will do everything in my power to help you in doing so.  You are expected to turn in your assignments complete and on time and to participate in class activities.  It is my responsibility to convey to you the importance and value of American history, to have lessons prepared that are informative and inspire interest, and to have assignments graded and back to you in a timely manner.  Through mutual respect and the fulfillment of our respective responsibilities, together we can have a positive an successful year!
