"Outdoor Fire Safety"

Every year in October we celebrate Fire Prevention Week by participating in a writing contest sponsored by our Seaford Fire Department.  Each grade has a different topic with rules outlined.

Rules for  Essay Contest

• 6th grade topic--"Outdoor Fire Safety"

• No more than 300 words (including title, "a", "the")

• The essay must be neatly hand-written on one side of the paper.

• The students will be assigned a due date for essay completion.

• Students are to complete their essays on time.

*Essays will be graded using our DSTP Rubric and submitted to our Seaford Fire Department.*
